April 4th 2007 Cardinal Development Meeting Notes Meeting was held in the Prior Lake Library-Community Room from 6.30-7.30 Curt Larson from Cardinal Development showed off his plans for the NE corner of Co. Rd. 42 and Hwy 18. The plot was divided up into 3 categories. 1. Office Space- 121,000 Square feet2. Retail- 105,000 Square feet3. Housing- Mixed between 3 and 4 story condos, town homes and twin homes Phase 1 (move dirt Fall of 2007)-Mostly away from the neighbor hoodOffice Space-Closest to the 42 and 18 will be two buildings 2-3 stories highRetail-Upscale shops along with a grocer (lunds/byerlys/kolwskies type)Housing-Maybe 3 story condos Phase 2 (2008-2009 Start)Office Space-NoneRetail-Restaurants and satellite buildingsHousing-Town homes and 4 story condos Phase 3 (2009-2010 Start)Office Space- Behind Elich's house. Doctor’s office, Dentits and Bank (8-5 business hours)Retail-CompletedHousing-Behind Larchids twin homes scheduled for now $400’s each Main Traffic pattern to pull away from Royalton. Royalton connected with in 24-36 months.8 ½ acres of park land5 ½ acres of open space50% of heritage tree savedNew trees and screen at least 2” in diameter.
